MECH 4300 - Prep/Professional Practice Credit Hours: (1) Description: A capstone course to prepare students for the transition from academic studies to professional practice. Topics include: engineering ethics, lifelong learning, societal impact of engineering decisions, contemporary issues, and preparation for the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination. Students are encouraged to take the FE during the semester in which they are enrolled in this course. Passing a Simulated FE is required to pass this course. PREREQUISITE: MECH 2311, MECH 3320, MECH 3323, MECH 3351.
