(MATH 7793) Description Euclidean n-space; vector spaces; subspaces; linear independence and bases; linear transformations; matrices; systems of linear conditions; characteristic values and vectors of linear transformations. Applications of linear algebra including least squares regression. Emphasis on proving major theorems. PREREQUISITE(S): Department Permit required.
