CHIN 3400 - Chinese Idioms and Legends

This course is designed to expand on language and cultural studies through extensive reading of the stories behind idiomatic expressions in Chinese. By the end of the semester, students will be expected to learn approximately fifteen idiomatic expressions and their origins, and master related vocabulary and grammatical structures at the same time. PREREQUISITE: CHIN 2020
