Description Study of the conflict between Palestinians and Israelis through analysis of religious, social, political, and cultural developments from the 19th century until the present day. Topics include Zionism in late Ottoman Palestine, the creation of the Jewish state of Israel and of the Palestinian refugee crisis, the Lebanese Civil War, and numerous Arab-Israeli wars.
