SWRK 8045 - Social and Political Action through Public Discourse

8045 Description Students will get training and experience in agenda-setting, legislative research, and advocacy, both legislatively and through the media to become the public voice of social work for the marginalized and for the advancement of society in general. Students will learn advocacy techniques and how to utilize the media to lead the discourse for social justice in the community. No
