Description A general survey of social and personality development from infancy through adolescence. The course consists of three sections: (1) general theoretical perspectives, including intrapsychic, cognitive, and social learning approaches; (2) intra-individual phenomena such as sex role, traits, moral development, etc.; (3) inter-individual phenomena such as family interactions, peer interactions, and societal influences.
