Description A discussion of concepts and skills that prepare students to be intelligent consumers of research. Topics include the interpretation of basic statistical concepts, forms of empirical research, threats to internal and external validity, research designs, and issues related to evidence based practice, the publishing process, the protection of research participants, and writing with precision.
