COMP 8950 - Research Methods for Computer Science

Credit Hours: 3
Description Learning to conduct research is an essential skill for PhD students. This course will provide an introduction to computing research in this department, and opportunities to practice primary research skills such as finding and reading research papers, synthesizing prior work, writing literature reviews, and presenting research to others. Students will pick their own research topic, and work in teams with others of similar research interests.
