Description (GEOP 7112; ESCI 7112). Theoretical and practical aspects of geophysics applied to determining earth structure and investigating tectonic processes at a regional scale; major topics include gravity, magnetism, heat flow, geoelectric, and seismic methods, and their implications for lithospheric structure and deformational processes.
