Description Translation of computer source language–including compiling of interpreters, scanning, and code generation–for arithmetical and Boolean expressions, arrays, conditional and iterative statements using recursive and nonrecursive compiling techniques; construction of automated compiler given a source language in form of a context-free grammar and a target in the form of actions to be performed when rules of grammar are satisfied.
