Description Study of government’s role in the economy, both in theory and in practice. Production and financing of public goods, taxation, advantages and disadvantages of federalism, externalities, government programs and their effects. Emphasis on current problems and policy decisions. PREREQUISITE(S): ECON 7300 or permission of instructor.
