Description How different types of markets work; nature of the firm; monopoly; oligopoly; repeated games and collusion; monopolistic competition and product differentiation; entry, accomodation and exit. May also cover topics such as research and development, advertising, consumer search, among others. PREREQUISITE(S): ECON 7310 ECON 8310 or permission of instructor.
