ICL 7105 - Language and Communication for Inclusionary Classrooms Credit Hours: (3) Description This course is designed to prepare Teacher Candidates to deliver evidence-based instruction to meet the communicative needs of all learners. Candidates will identify language/communicative etiological conditions, developmental progressions in language, analyze and interpret speech/language assessments and collaboratively design instruction accordingly, to use augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, assistive technology (AT), and effective supports for English as an Additional Language (EAL) learners. Additionally, this course will share current knowledge in the field and include current information about federal education laws and initiatives that affect services for children with communicative and language differences.
