ICL 7106 - Professional Ethical and legal practices and standards: Working with families, classrooms and communities ** Credit Hours: (3) Description This course explores ethics, standards, and legal considerations that educators and professionals need to understand while working with families, young children, students with exceptionalities, and students with dis/abilities. The special educator working with parents, children, and older students needs to be aware of a code of ethical standards that protects confidentiality and privacy and assures mutual respect. PREREQUISITE(S): SPED 7000 or equivalent.
