PUBH 7333 - Addictive Behaviors Credit Hours: (3) Description This course provides public health students with an introduction to the historical, clinical, epidemiological, and public policy issues related to addictive behaviors, including alcohol, tobacco, illicit drugs, and gambling. Students will be exposed to a variety of methodological approaches used by social and behavioral scientists to study addictive behaviors, including ethnography, surveys, geographical information systems, and clinical trials.
