Description This interdisciplinary course focuses on ibcreasing recognition that the built environment, including all of the physical parts where we live and work, and community features such as sidewalks, trails and public transit can inpact human health. Key topics include neighborhoos, physical activity, and diet; active transportation; disparity by race/ethnicity and income levels; social determinants; and policy interventions.
