Description This course examines dietary intake and nutrition behaviors from a public health perspective. Topics covered include dietary intake measurement for the monitoring of population health; socioecological factors impacting eating behaviors from infancy into adulthood; and the role of diet in the development of diseases with public health implications (e.g., obesity, malnutrition).3
