Description This course focuses on critical issues in global health emphasizing the multidisciplinary approach to understanding global health problems as they occur within and across borders. Concepts include the interplay between global stressors such as population, urbanization, economics, environment, and war; and their effects on the spread of infectious and chronic diseases, nutrition, and environmental health. PREREQUISITE(S): Completion of 18 credit hours in the program of study with a minimum graduate GPA of 3.00 and permission of instructor
