PUBH 8338 - Critical Issues in Global Hlth Credit Hours: (3) Description This course focuses on critical issues in global health emphasizing the multidisciplinary approach to understanding global health problems as they occur within and across borders. Concepts include the interplay between global stressors such as population, urbanization, economics, environment, and war; and their effects on the spread of infectious and chronic diseases, nutrition, and environmental health.
