SPED 7212 - Methods & Content Area Instruction for All Learners Credit Hours: (3) Description
This course prepares Teacher Candidates to understand and implement evidence-based practices and methods for literacy and other core content (i.e., math, science, social studies) used in special education and inclusive classrooms for all learners. Topics such as dyslexia and differentiating instruction through universal design for learning (UDL) for all learners (gifted/talented, EAL, additional support needs) are covered. Clinical experience: Data-Based Instruction (DBI) Project with a student that has exceptional needs is required.
PREREQUISITE(S): SPED 7000 or equivalent.
