Description This course will cover essential issues, techniques, and opportunities in providing equal access to higher education to students with disabilities. Students will be introduced to the concepts and activities associated with universal design, the process of designing products, buildings, environments, and products so they can be used readily by the widest possible range of users. Current trends in assistive technology for classroom and campus use will be covered.
