Description Introduction to the power system stability problem, synchronous machine representation in stability issues, excitation and prime mover systems, control of active and reactive powers, small-signal and transient stability, voltage stability, methods of improving stability. PREREQUISITE(S): EECE 4201 and EECE 4202/EECE 6202 or permission of instructor.
