Description An introduction to the use of multilevel regression models that take into account the dependencies between observations that generally violate the independence assumption for regression, such as students nested in classrooms or schools. Topics include two and three level cross-sectional models, modeling of repeated measures, and logistic models for dichotomous dependent variables. Students learn the basic tenets of multilevel regression and apply these methods to real data from studies in education, psychology, and social sciences PREREQUISITE(S): EDPR 7542 - EDPR 8542 or permission of instructor.
