CERI 8330 - Geodynamics Applications

Description Focuses on applications of the finite element method in modelling of earthquake related processes (e.g. coseismic deformation) and the numerical representation of the corresponding tectonic environments (e.g. suduction zones). Uses advanced finite element meshing tools and open source finite element codes. PREREQUISITE(S): Permission of the instructor Standard Letter
