NURS 7700 - Interprofessional Pharmacology

Description This course introduces the interprofessional health student to basic pharmacology principles including receptor mechanisms, drug distribution and metabolism, and pharmacokinetics. Online lectures, case studies, discussions and presentations on biological systems serve as a basic understanding of pharmacotherapy and drug interactions. PREREQUISITE(S): Admission to health-related program of study. Completion of undergraduate courses in biology or chemistry and anatomy/physiology. Standard Letter
