MUTC 6010 - Jazz Improvisation Review

Description Accelerated course in the foundational principles of modal harmony, chord/scale relationships and melodic development as related to the art of Jazz Improvisation. It is suggested that Masters and Doctoral students who do not yet meet the requirements for MUTC 7010- Advanced Improvisation, enroll in this course. PREREQUISITE(S): Demonstrated knowledge of the core principles and successful completion of an undergraduate theory sequence. Enrollment is by approval of instructor.
