ENGL 8339 - Afrofuturism and Black Speculative Fiction

Description This course explores the literary, cultural, and theoretical tradition of black speculative fiction, particularly through genres such as black science fiction and fantasy, horror, and its most popular form, afrofuturism. PREREQUISITE(S) or COREQUISITE(S): Must possess a bachelor’s degree or be enrolled in an accelerated bachelor’s/master’s program.
