SCMS 7233 - Supply Chain Analytics

Description Applying a strategic framework to analyze supply chains, this course introduces and showcases applications of business analytics to the key strategic, tactical, and operational decision opportunities presented in the supply chain management. Utilizing integrated descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics methods, the course focuses on managerial decision analyses related to supply chain network design, supply-demand forecasting and planning, sales and operations planning, inventories planning and management, transportation design and planning, sourcing, pricing and revenue management, and supply chain risk management, in various industries. Case studies, real-world exercises, and projects drive the learning environment and promote extensive use of MS Excel 2010 environment and Analytics Solver Platform for Education (ASPE) software system.
