EDPR 7012 - Introduction to Mixed Methods Research Credit Hours: 3 Description This course will provide an overview of mixed methods research, particularly as it relates to research in the social sciences. The course covers foundational mixed methods theory, philosophical assumptions of mixed methods research, mixed methods design considerations, and analytic approaches to integration of qualitative and quantitative data. The applied nature of the course will address strategies for designing, conducting, reporting, and evaluating mixed methods research. PREREQUISITE(S): EDPR 7521 or 8521 or permission of instructor.
