CHEM 7512 - Carbohydrates and Nucleic Acids Credit Hours: 3 Description Students will learn about the roles of carbohydrates and nucleic acids in a chemical context. They will be expected to learn fundamentals of carbohydrate and nucleic acid chemistry related to structure, function and reactivity. This will include fundamental reactions of both macromolecules as reactants and products, methods of characterization and purification, and incorporation into biomolecules. PREREQUISITE(S): CHEM 6511 or CHEM 6520
