Analysis of the pathophysiology and collaborative management of adults and older adults with selected episodic/chronic health problems in acute/critical care with emphasis on pulmonary, cardiovascular, metabolic neurological/neurosurgical diseases, multi-organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS), end of life care, and palliative care.  Emphasis is placed on diagnostic reasoning, differential diagnosis, and the application of current evidence to provide safe and effective clinical management and treatment.
