Emphasis is on clinical practice in the role of the adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in the practice of a supervising preceptor whose practice includes inpatient care.  Student practice with the preceptor may be in the clinic, hospital, or critical care setting.  Students must achieve a grade of “B” or better to progress.
