Emphasis is on clinical practice in the role of the adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner with preceptor supervision in the role of either the hospitalist, intensivist, or in a setting with acute/critical presentations of medical and trauma illnesses. Students must achieve a grade of “B” or better to progress.
