PSYC 4521 - Practicum in Learning Assistance in Psychology

Description: This course is for learning assistants supporting courses in the Department of Psychology. It is designed to prepare students as effective small group facilitators and to train students in the pedagogy implemented in the General Psychology auditorium courses and similar courses. The course includes instruction on written and oral presentation skills, active learning, critical thinking skills, building a community of learning, grading methodology, adaptive quizzing software, and/or student response tools.
