(3) Develops state-of-the-art understanding of issues in cell receptors and signaling, covering receptor-ligand interactions including methods of identification and quantification; emphasizes specific characteristics of G protein-coupled receptors, receptor tyrosine kinases, and ligand-activate transcription factors including mechanisms of action and signaling pathways activated by each receptor.
