Understanding change occurring on the global scale from an interdisciplinary perspective; includes characteristics of natural systems, magnitude of human alteration of environmental systems, history of natural changes in climate and landscape, and the impact of these changes on our lives. PREREQUISITE(S): ESCI (GEOG) 4521/ESCI 6521 or permission of instructor. Grades of A-F, or IP will be given.
