(3) Introduction to hardware and software design of computing systems embedded in electronic devices; programmable processor design; peripherals, memories, interfacing, and hardware/software tradeoffs. Laboratory involves of use of synthesis tools, programmable logic, microcontrollers, and development of working embedded systems. PREREQUISITE(S): Permission of instructor.
