MATH 8026 - Special Topics in Mathematics(3) Facilitates understanding of some important facts abut Fourier series, Fourier transforms, and finite Fourier analysis, including applications to other sciences (optics, acoustics, particle physics, uncertainty principle) as well as links within mathematics (infinitude of primes, isoperimetric inequality). May be repeated for a maximum of 6 credit hours when topics change
