The Loewenberg College of Nursing offers graduate programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing, the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) is offered with concentrations in a) Nursing Education, b) Family Nurse Practitioner, c) Nursing Leadership, and d) Accelerated RN to BSN to MSN. A graduare certificate is available for nursing graduates in the specialty of Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education, and Nursing Leadership.

The MSN programs prepares the graduate to:

Educate baccalaureate prepared registered nurses for advanced roles in advanced nursing practice (APRN), nursing education, and nursing leadership.
Prepare life-long scholars well equipped to translate evidence into practice.
Produce well prepared graduates to deliver high-quality evidence-based care, lead healthcare system transformation, and facilitate exceptional teaching & learning.
Prepare graduates to properly and effectively apply interprofessional communication, current technologies, and professionalism to advance health, health policy, and health equity for diverse populations from local to global.
Produce graduates with exceptional leadership attributes that leads to ethical practice, patient advocacy, attention to quality & safety, and commitment to the advancement of the professional nursing discipline.

Students may not enroll for courses as graduate non-degree except by permission of the instructor and with approval of the Director of MSN Nursing Programs.
