International Business, (B.B.A.)

The International Business major prepares undergraduate business students for entry-level careers in international business fields through a broad, interdisciplinary curriculum that combines theoretical and practical international business study with course work in the liberal arts, including foreign language and area studies.

University General Education Program (41 hours)


See  for the University General Education Program requirements. Note that , , or  (Mathematics requirement) and  and  (Social/Behavioral Sciences requirement) with a minimum grade of “C” are specified for the B.B.A. degree.

Lower Division Business Core


No grade below “C” and a 2.25 GPA in the following Lower Division Business Core:

Upper Division Business Core


No grade below “C” and a 2.25 GPA in the following Upper Division Business Core:

The Major (27 hours)


No grade below “C” and a minimum 2.25 GPA in the major.

Foreign Language:


6 semester hours in one modern foreign language at or above the 2000 level or equivalent.

Choose 4 International Business Courses From the Following (12 hours):


Electives (13 hours)


Lower division or upper division courses to bring the total of hours earned to 120. See International Business advisor for recommended electives in global and area studies.
