Program Requirements
The Early Music Certificate recognizes students in the Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music who have made a specialty or subspecialty in the study of historically-informed performance of repertories before 1800. It has three components: coursework focusing on these repertories, lessons on a historical instrument or voice, and a public performance. The certificate may be earned concurrently with or independent of any degree(s) or certificate program(s) in the School.
