The courses in the concentration will provide tools in microeconomics and macroeconomics that will help managers make better business decisions. It will provide training needed for students to pass the Certified Business Economist (CBE) exam.

Master of Business Administration
MBA Core Courses (30 hours):
Program Admission
- All MBA applicants must have an undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university.
Preparatory Knowledge
There are no prerequisites for the core MBA curriculum. However, students entering the MBA programs are expected to be fluent in the language of business, with a working understanding of key concepts in economics, finance, and accounting. In addition, students are expected to have a working proficiency in statistics.
Program Retention
Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 at the end of each semester of enrollment. In accordance with the Graduate School guidelines, any student not meeting this requirement will be placed on probation. Students on probation must adhere to an academic plan outlined by their advisor in their next semester of enrollment. A second consecutive semester on probation can result in suspension, and may lead to termination. Business Economics Concentration Requirements (12 hours):
