Agriculture Studies Minor

After completing this minor through integrated coursework, students will be able to communicate and demonstrate mastery of the scientific and social concepts related to agriculture clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing. 

Requirements (15 hours)


Completion of a minimum of 15* credit hours (at least 9 must be upper division): the 3 credit Introduction to Agriculture Studies course (BIOL1009), 6 credits in agricultural sciences, 3 credits in humanity/societal, and 3 credits in policy/management. 

* The minor may require more hours, depending on the General Education courses taken, as well as the nature of the student’s major. The minor is especially recommended for Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science, and Civil Engineering majors.
