Business Administration - Engineering Management Concentration, (MBA)

An MBA is designed for those students who are interested in managerial careers – for those with leadership aspirations and abilities. After completing this program, students will acquire managerial-level knowledge in the core areas of business, and managerial-level skills for data driven decision-making, leadership and analysis of the global implications of all business decision making.
Students who desire to complete the Engineering Management concentration are required to have at least a bachelor's degree in the field of Engineering and appropriate work experience background. Students may take graduate level courses (6000 and 7000), upon approval from an advisor, in the following areas:
- Biomedical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Engineering

Program Requirements
A candidate for an MBA degree with concentration in Engineering Management must complete a total of 42 credit hours (14 courses) as follows: - 30 hours of MBA Core courses (10 MBA core courses)
- 12 hours of concentration courses (4 concentration courses)
MBA Core Courses (30 hours)
Note:
- SCMS 7110 must be completed before a student enrolls for BA 7503.
- MGMT 7160 must be taken during a student’s last semester of enrollment.
Engineering Management Concentration Requirements:
This program requires the completion of 12 credit hours in one of the subject areas below. Students must select one subject area of study. Biomedical Engineering
