PHYS 4410 - Introduction to Quantum Mechanics

Credit Hours: (3)
Description: Historical background of quantum theory, mathematical formalism of quantum mechanics, solutions of Schrodinger equation for bound and scattering states, wave packets, harmonic oscillator, angular momentum and selected applications in atomic, molecular and optical physics. PREREQUISITE: PHYS 3010  and PHYS 3011 .
