Description Provides basic understanding of mechanisms by which therapeutic agents regulate physiological function of cells comprising organ systems such as the heart and central nervous system; drug action (pharmacodynamics) addressed at the molecular, cellular, and organ level, as well as common diseases affecting a system. Three lecture hours per week. PREREQUISITE(S): CHEM 1120 and BIOL 3130.
