Description An overview of the study of crime victims and the process, etiology, and consequences of criminal victimization, with focus on the types of crime victims, theories of victimization, and the victim’s treatment within the criminal justice system using national data as well as recent research findings. PREREQUISITE(S): ESCI (GEOL) 3512 or equivalent.
