Description Microwave theory and instrument applications, including techniques for measuring power, frequency, impedance, VSWR, reflection coefficient, use of Smith chart, steady state and transient response of transmission lines, high frequency generators, and computer aided design and analysis of array antennas. Two lecture, three laboratory hours per week.
