SWRK 7025 - Scientific Methods ** Credit Hours: (3) Description A required course designed to teach research methods and the elements of evidence based practice. The course focuses on social work practice-focused quantitative and qualitative research knowledge and skills including critical evaluation of empirical literature, basic research methodology including construct operationalization, study design, selection, development, implementation, measurement, specific instruments, data management and data analysis using statistical software. PREREQUISITE(S): Admission to the MSW program or permission from MSW director or instructor.
