PHYS 6300 - Advanced Topics in Astronomy Credit Hours: 3 Description This course is designed primarily for students interested in astronomy. In -depth, organized study of a contemporary topic of interest not normally covered in the undergraduate physics and astronomy curriculum. Possible subjects for study are the solar system, extragalactic astronomy and cosmology, the inconstant universe, astrobiology, planetary geology.
