COMM 8358 - Critical Regionalism and Rhetoric

Credit Hours: 3
Description Focuses on how regionalism is created rhetorically as a strategic identity developing insider and outsider status in a variety of contexts. Specific attention will be given to the tensions between regional identity and the crossing of borders. Regional culture will be discussed in terms of religion, politics, tourism, popular culture, immigration, pedagogy and activism among other subject matter. Standard Letter
